15-inch PCAP Touch With Another 3mm Front Glass Over It

Usually, there is a cover glass optically bonded on the PCAP touchscreen sensor and the cover glass normally ranges from 0.7mm to 4mm. For medium size like 15 inches, the cover glass is ordinarily from 2mm to 4mm.

Here we have a client requiring a PCAP touch screen working fine with another 3mm front glass on it to make it more anti-vandal, and there is an air gap between the PCAP touch and the extra 3mm cover glass. Our engineer use 0.3mm thickness adhesive tape around the bezel to make the air gap and trying to create new firmware accordingly. We test it working fine on Windows.
