A client in Agentina was suffering touch problem on an outdoor application. The black ink on the bezel has bubbles and seems to fell off, the display area is turning yello.
Regarding this issue, our comment is as below:
some Outdoor Touchscreen Applications are exposed in the rain and direct sunlight, which may cause:
1. malfunction of touch (rain, high temperature, low temperature),
2. harm of glare (strong light),
3. cannot flush-mounted (UV-light destroys the ordinary ink silk-printed on the bezel)
4. turn yellow (UV-light destroys the ordinary optical clear adhesive)
Facing these difficulties, LB provides touchscreen overlays which can overcome above mentioned problems and fit outdoor environment. How do we resolve these problems:
1. Reliable MCU touch controller, supporting multi-touch, touch with water, gloved-hand touch, wide-operating temperature, strong anti-noise ability;
2. Anti-glare and Anti-fingerprint surface treatment;
3. Anti-UV ink or ceramic ink for silkscreen-printing the bezel on 1.1mm to 6mm thickness front glass;
4. Anti-UV optical clear adhesive to optically bond the touchscreen sensor to the front glass.
