New Design of 4-Wire Resistive Touch Panel with Black Bezel for Flush Mount Touch Monitor and Computer

The basic feature of traditional resistive touch panel is that it responds to pressure touch with finger nail or stylus, supporting single touch. It is consists of a top layer of ITO film and a bottom layer of ITO glass. The traditional resistive touch panel usually has the similar size as the LCD panel and you can see the silver ink circuit.

When assembling the traditional resistive touch panel, there is usually an enclosure covering the bezel, only left the active area. There is a step from the touch surface to the enclosure top. The touch panel is not on the same plane with the enclosure. Below is the photo how it looks like after assemblage:

Let’s take a look at our new design. As you can see, it has black bezel, and the outline dimension is usually bigger than the LCD panel. There is one more PET layer with black bezel bonded on top of it. This is what we call black bezel 4 wire resistive touch panel or flush-mount 4-wire resistive touch panel.

On the rear view as seen on above photo, there is enough area for flush-mounting the touch panel to the enclosure. It is totally flat after assemblage.


Below is a 10.1’’ flush-mount resistive touchscreen monitor for your information. It is 1280x800 pixels, 350 nits brightness, HDMI and VGA interfaces for display and USB interface for touch. The power supply is usually 12V DC or 5V DC. It supports plug-and-play on Windows and Android operating systems.
